BaoBao has diverse academic interests, from technology to decision making to art. Her major, Operations Research and Information Engineering, allows her to apply her knowledge of technology and analytical skills to help make better decisions. On the other end of the spectrum, BaoBao treasures the time with art. It gives her insights and inspirations from a completely different perspective.
In school, BaoBao is a research analyst at Ewing's Scarcoma Drug Development Lab at Cornell University. She assists research professor to develop a new drug for the pediatric cancer, Ewing's Scarcoma. She codes and performs statistical analysis to select the most desirable molecule to be tested in an experimental setting. This past summer, she worked as an application developer for GE Capital IT Leadership Program. During the internship, she pioneered the implementation of AKKA in a prototype to improve team’s current business solution.
